The short version
This website sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers, and loads no fonts or scripts from other companies — everything it needs is served from here. The software you buy runs on your machine and sends us nothing at all. We hold your email address only if you write to us or buy something.
The rest of this page spells that out, because a short version alone is not enough to rely on.

We do not build profiles, and we do not use your data to advertise to you anywhere.
3. Payment data never reaches us
Checkout runs through Lemon Squeezy LLC as merchant of record. Your card details go to them and their payment processors — we never see them. We receive the information we need to deliver your purchase and honour your license. Lemon Squeezy is responsible for its own handling of your data under its privacy policy.
4. Visit counting
Our host, Cloudflare, Inc., counts visits for us without cookies and without recognising you across sessions. Cloudflare also delivers this site and filters attacks, which means your request passes through its network and your IP address is processed there for that purpose. Cloudflare is our service provider and may not use this data for its own purposes.

Beyond these, we do not share personal information with anyone. We would disclose it if the law required us to — and we have never been asked.
6. What the software does on your machine
ShortsLab and PostRoute keep all content, credentials, API keys and results in your installation folder on your own device. Nothing is transmitted to us. We have no access to your installation and no way to see what is in it.
The software connects outward only to services you set up: the social platforms you link your accounts to, AI providers whose keys you enter (without a key, text generation runs locally), stock media providers, and the sources you hand to the clipper. Each of those providers is responsible for its own processing under its own terms.
If you process other people's data with the software — for instance by clipping somebody else's video — you are the one responsible for that.
7. We do not sell your personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising — under the California Consumer Privacy Act or any other reading of those words. There is no opt-out link on this site because there is nothing to opt out of.
8. What we do not collect
We collect no sensitive personal information in the sense the California law gives that term: no government identifiers, no financial account details (the payment provider holds those, not us), no precise location, no racial or ethnic origin, no religious beliefs, no health data, no biometric or genetic data, and no contents of your messages. We do not ask for it and the software does not send it.
In the categories that law uses, we hold identifiers (your email address, and an IP address while a request is served) and commercial information (what you bought). Nothing else.
9. Automated signals and Do Not Track
This site has nothing to track you with, so a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal changes nothing here: there is no sale and no sharing to opt out of, and no advertising identifier to suppress. We mention it because several state laws expect a site to say how it treats those signals, and „we honour it” would suggest we were doing something we are not.
10. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within 45 days.
If you live in California, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what we collect and why, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be treated worse for exercising any of these. You may use an authorised agent. We will verify a request through the email address the data is attached to before we act on it.
If you live in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah or another state with a comparable law, the same rights apply to you and the same address reaches us.
We do not use your data for automated decisions and we do not profile you.
11. If we turn a request down
If we decline a request — for instance because we cannot confirm that the request really comes from you — we will say so and give the reason. You may appeal by replying to that answer with the word appeal; a second look is taken by a person who was not involved the first time, and you get a written decision within 45 days. If the appeal is also refused, you may complain to the attorney general of your state. Several state privacy laws require this route, and it exists here whether or not your state is one of them.
12. Children
This site and our software are meant for professional use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data; if we learn that we have, we delete it.
13. Security and what happens if something leaks
The site is delivered over encrypted connections. The strongest protection here is structural rather than technical: we hold very little. What is not collected cannot leak — your footage, your captions and your platform credentials never reach us in the first place, because the software keeps them on your machine.
No system is perfectly secure. If personal information we hold were exposed, we would tell the people affected by email without undue delay, describe what happened and what it means for them, and notify the authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep things: emails you send us until the matter is settled and then up to two years; purchase records as long as tax rules require (generally seven years); server request data only briefly, for delivery and defence against attacks; visit counts only in aggregate, never tied to a person.
14. Changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top changes with it.
